Chassis Restoration
We always start restorations with the
chassis. Whether a chassis is rusty, collision-damaged, or both,
our tooling, fixtures, and welding processes can usually make it
look factory-new again.
We start the process with a thorough sandblasting of the chassis,
followed by careful measurement to ensure the chassis dimensions
are correct.
Then we lay the chassis on its side to repair the floorboard mounting
areas and inner channels.
We stitch-weld the repair plates into place to avoid damage from
warpage, then metal-finish the welds to make them undetectable.

We can also repair
the center crossmembers, as seen in the chassis below.
While it's generally
not cost-effective, we've even sectioned frames to correct collision
damage.
The end result is
always a chassis that has the strength, look, and dimensions it
had from the factory.

for one of our brochures and price lists describing chassis restoration.
