Once our repairs were complete we fit the grille, only to realize we needed slightly more crown in our panels. We used our planishing hammer to add the crown, but unfortunately it also removed the edge where the grille meets the body. Because the whole nose piece would not fit in our bead roller we cut the piece in half. After the edge was restored we welded the 2 halves back together, reinstalled the bracing and tacked it into place. Once we were satisfied with the panel fit we plug-welded the edges in and hung our fenders to test the fit.
