The right-hand frame channel appeared to be fairly weak, so before sandblasting we reinforced it with some angle iron to prevent the frame from snapping in two. After the chassis returned from sandblasting the damage became very apparent. The entire right frame channel was rusted through and will require extensive repair, as well as the left frame channel. Several of the floorboard rails will need to be replaced and there is a small kink in the front that will need to be pulled straight.
