The frame was sectioned with the front portion of another frame.
The front of the frame was badly damaged.
The front was cut away mainly on factory weld lines so that the repair could be hidden.
|
The replacement section was carefully fitted using two frame fixtures built for this type of repair. After carefull measurement ensured everything was correct, tack welding started.
Everything was then finish welded and ground as appropriate (not shown)
