The car was separated into halves as the sill/pillar assemblies
were replaced.
Ted cut away the old panels with a sawzall, die grinder, and an
air chisel.
The inner panels were repaired and the car was back in one piece,
but had no strength.

The sill/pillar assembly gives the body its strength. Here it is clamped into position awaiting welding. The sill/pillar assembly was spot welded in, just like factory. |
