A repair was necessary in the right-hand dogleg of the TR2. The bad metal was cut out and the inner structure was cleaned and sprayed with a rust-inhibiting undercoat. We fabricated a patch panel, coated the back with the same undercoat, and welded it in place. The welds were ground smooth.
