After removing the bumper and mounting brackets we test-fitted our new Bob Drake shortened brackets. We mounted the bumper on these new brackets (without the overriders for simplicity) and took new measurements. This new bracket brings the bumpers 3 1/2" closer at the bolts and almost 5" at the center!

The next step will be to fabricate a mounting bracket to hold the license plate in a better location. Once we have this bracket system in place we will have the brackets powdercoated and can then do the final mounting.
