This 1988 Alfa Romeo Spider is in great condition, but its engine is pretending to be British – i.e. it’s leaking fluids everywhere. It’s time to re-seal everything with fresh gaskets, seals, and hoses, and to clean up the mess while we’re at it.
The easiest way to do all of the work is actually to remove the engine and gearbox from the car completely and seperate the two. We disconnect everything, drain the fluids, remove the radiator, intake, exhaust, and other ancillaries, and then unbolt and remove the engine and gearbox.
Once on the ground, we can further inspect certain items and begin taking everything apart for cleaning.
