After some paper patterning, we made up a new section of floor on our Pullmax. We made a new set of dies that closely matched the profile of the original floor ridges.

We welded the new piece in. It allows the seat to sit about 2″ lower than previously.

We like to paint racecar interiors grey. In this case, the owner stopped in and brushed it in himself.

We used rubberized undercoating on the bottom of the floor.

We also had to put a kink in the exhaust to clear the new floor section. We TIG welded it together with some U-bend cutoffs.
