MGA 1500 Race Car
We started the bodywork by prepping the seams on the front shroud where it meets the original body. Once we realized how much of a mess we would make we decided to move the operation into the back room to contain all the dust.
Once in the back room we began the bodywork in earnest. It is time-consuming and requires the right touch. As seen below, Nick feels the bodywork for high and low spots and marks them with a pencil for correction with the next skimcoat.
One or two more coats and this MGA race car will be ready for primer and paint!
