1971 Honda CB350
After finishing the bike a few issues arose which required some more attention.
The original mufflers which had been reinstalled eventually failed due to rust. Because they caused some interference with the positioning of the rearsets it was decided to change to the higher pipes of the CL350 "Scrambler". These pipes were sourced with replacement EMGO mufflers already welded in place which were clearanced to fit next to our larger-than-stock rear shocks. The pipes were wrapped, mounts fabricated and everything installed.
We also switched to smaller bar-end mirrors which reduced the overall width of the handlebars.
Modifications yet to come include:
Redesign of the tail light mount.
Installation of a brake light flasher unit and digital voltmeter.
Modification of and installation of a CBR600 kick stand.
