1967 Jaguar E-Type

This 1967 Jaguar E-Type arrived on what may be the last good-weather day of the year. The owner has noticed a couple of clunks in the rear end and would like the whole assembly restored as it wasn't really dealt with when the car was done years ago.

We disconnected everything, removed the wheels, unbolted the rear carrier and lowered the assembly onto one of our steel tables for evaluation. Already we've noticed some worn bushings, the wheel bearings have significant play, and there is just a lot of road grime to clean off. Once everything has been disassembled we can assess the condition of the u-joints, calipers, differential, etc., and make a plan to clean up and restore the whole subassembly.
