Repair panels are available for the inner portion of the main frame channel (Moss p# 455-980). Unfortunately in some circumstances these pieces are just not long enough in the rear section. When we have a repair that goes this far back we will often make our own piece out of 14-gauge steel rather than fit a second repair piece in the back. This saves on welding, warpage and makes for a better-looking repair.

We made a paper template of the section we needed to repair and transferred that shape to our piece of 14-gauge.
