1978 MGB

This MGB had been undercoated, but the undercoat was thin or missing in spots. In addition, the gas tank was unprotected and exhibited surface rust that the owner wanted cleaned up.

We pressure-washed and degreased the underside of the car (during a blizzard, no less!) and prepped it for another dose of undercoat. We sprayed 2 coats of 3M Body Schutz on the floors and in the wheel wells. After wire-wheeling the gas tank to remove as much of the surface rust as possible we brushed on several coats of rust-encapsulating paint.
