1968 Porsche 911
We disconnected and removed the gas tank to access the gas tank supports and lower suspension pan. Unfortunately as you can see from the pictures, we found lots of rust damage. Most of the damage was due to water but there is also a significant amount of battery acid damage to the left side near and above the battery mount. The front mount for the right-hand torsion bar had completely rusted away and the front suspension of the car was pushing up into the car. The left mount was also rusty, but not nearly as badly.
