1967 MGB/GT

With the motor mounts well in-hand we began to tackle the gearbox mount. One goal of this project is to keep all parts native to either the MGB or the Miata. We chose to build a gearbox mount using an MGB rubber mount at its heart.

After getting our critical measurements we built an adapter plate to mate the MGB mount to the Miata gearbox. We then built a framework to secure the mount to the MGB framerails. The mount will be finish-welded together later this week!
