1970 Jaguar E-Type

This Series-2 XKE arrived for some more maintenance work before the driving season begins here in Michigan. The owner has noticed some valve noise which we will be correcting along with some other service items.

This particular car originally came equipped with Air Conditioning, which does not work and the owner wants removed, so we've started extracting the under-dash components and getting rid of the extra plumbing under the hood.

Because of the A/C compressor the alternator in this car is mounted on a rather complex bracket. Once the compressor is out we will likely be installing a factory non-AC alternator bracket in its place.
