We sandblasted and sent all of the engine cooling tins out for powdercoating.

We carefully reassembled the engine with new parts, sealed the case halves, and readied the motor and gearbox for reinstallation. We saw a tremendous amount of rust in the fuel tank and filter and opted for a brand-new tank properly set up for fuel injection.

After we installed the tank we finished reassembling the engine. We sourced a full replacement thermostat assembly, a new alternator wiring harness, a new starter and alternator, and got everything ready to bolt in.
