Fortunately there were very few surprises once the paint had been stripped. There was a small patch over the left rear fender, but the rest of the car was surprisingly solid considering the amount of visible rust cut from the fenders and doglegs.

A few areas of the car received some skim of filler, especially in the oft-dented front of the hood. The car then received a fresh coat of Glacier White, the original color of the car.
