The front shroud of this Twin Cam has been damaged and repaired over the years, resulting in metal that is in poor condition, filled with holes and brass. We've decided that the easiest route to take is to simply cut out the bad metal and fabricate a new piece. First we took a paper template of the area, which was transfered to a sheet of steel. Once the steel was cut to shape it was formed using a hammer and dollie, the english wheel, planishing hammer, and the edge detail was put in with a bead roller.
