The left-hand sill and dogleg are also in need of replacement. The corrosion in the sill is more severe than on the right-hand side and we've had to remove most of the metal as a result. You can see all the dirt that has accumulated in both the dogleg area and inside the sill (note the bag full of junk). After cleaning the metal, we coat all the surfaces with a rust-inhibiting undercoat that will prevent future corrosion. We fabbed repair panels for both the dogleg and sill, fit them to the car and will begin welding them in.
