Traditional Hot Rod Chassis-Building
March 2013
Ionia Hot Rod Shop's Denny Leske teams up with Carl and the Eclectic crew to offer its introductory Traditional Chassis Seminar. Geared toward enthusiasts building a "buggy sprung" Ford-based hot rod, the principles discussed apply to many other applications, including non-Fords and rat rods. The primary focus of the seminar is to offer options and methods of chassis construction to the average home builder without specialized equipment. Sound engineering, safety, and ride quality will all be emphasized during the seminar.
Starting at 9:00am, the seminar will finish at approximately 5:00pm. Lunch and snacks are included. There will be several cars and chassis on display, as well as many sample parts and components that can be compared to help in decision-making for your project.
Since this is our first seminar for Hot Rods, we're offering it at an introductory price of $125 and limiting the enrollment. We'll be asking for a little more feedback from participants so that we can ensure we offer great value in upcoming Hot Rod seminars.
Our current plan is to continue to offer a lower-priced one-day Introductory seminar, then add a hands-on two or three day seminar. The Introductory seminar will be offered to up to 20 participants at a time, while the hand-on seminar will be limited to six participants.
